Key Highlights & Financial Limits
Universal Coverage: The scheme covers all the resident families across the state.
Standard Coverage: This scheme covers treatment for up to Rs. 5lakh per family per year on floater basis.
Renal Transplants: The patients going under kidney transplant get specialized coverage up to Rs. 2.5 lakhs for the procedure.
Road Accident Protection: Road accident coverage of up to Rs. 1 lakh per person is included in the scheme.
Packages & Procedures:
The scheme covers over 1356 medical treatments and surgical packages across 34 specialties including pre and post hospitalization, diagnostics and medication bills.
How to Access Cashless Hospitalization:
Find an Empanelled Hospital: Visit any government hospital or empanelled private facility displaying the MPJAY registration desk.
Meet the Arogyamitra: Consult with the dedicated Arogyamitra (health helpdesk representative) stationed at the hospital.
Verification & Diagnosis: Submit your Ration Card and Aadhaar/Photo ID. The treating doctor diagnoses the condition and submits an online pre-authorization request.
Treatment & Discharge: After e-authorization from the State Health Assurance Society (SHAS), the hospital provides complete cashless treatment.
Post-Discharge Benefits: Free follow-up consultations, diagnostics, and prescribed medications are provided for designated package periods.
